London Fine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The desk has very pleasing proportion and the desirable twin bow to the cabinets and top produces a stand-out item of furniture.

With a central drawer over the knee, top drawers at each pedestal, a generous cabinet to one side and a trio of substantially crafted oak lined sliders to the the other pedestal, this desk offers great storage capacity and superb practicality.

The upper provides an Oxford green tooled and embossed quality full skiver which is excellently presented.
Rising from a continuous plinth the desk shows fine marquetry to the front on the doors and drawers. The desk benefits from a finished back meaning that the desk can be used in the centre of a room setting should that be required.

Quality is again demonstrated in the solid oak drawer linings and the brass knob pulls which are present.
Overall a very desirable example in excellent antique condition.
Delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
