Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 1800s.
The frieze is similarly inlaid with scrolls and leaves, as are the tapering legs (two are hinged at the rear) which terminate in block feet. 31ins (78cms) wide.
Purchased privately, this good table has not been restored. It is in excellent condition but might benefit from a clean and revival to the polish which can be arranged if required.
