Antique Sterling Silver Topped Vanity Jar - Reynold's Angels

Description

A wonderful large vanity jar or pot, very usable to keep Q-Tips, Cotton Pads or other bits and pieces in.

The glass is decorated in the highly desirable hobnail design, the underside finished with a star-cut. The lid fits well and is crowned with the highly collectible Reynold's Angels design. The silver top is hallmarked for Birmingham 1903, making this a true Edwardian example. The makers initials M Bros. is also present for the highly renowned silversmith, Mappin Brothers.

Excellent condition, the lid diameter measuring 3 1/4" and standing 3 1/2" tall.
