Antique Late 18th Century Carved Joined Oak Livery Cupboard C1790

Antique Late 18th Century Carved Joined Oak Livery Cupboard and dating from around 1790. It has a moulded edge to the plank and cornice top above a carved rosette frieze and with turned bulbous canopy supports. To the centre there is a panelled and carved door with the central panel having carved foliate scroll work and with original iron clasp and hinge ware and further carved panels to either side again with carved foliate scroll work. The base has a moulded edge to the top above two carved rosette frieze drawers and stands on turned bulbous & block legs joined by a plank pot board with moulded skirt. It is hand carved and peg joined.

Measures: 57" high x 20" deep x 57" wide

A very nice Antique Late 18th Century Carved Oak Livery Cupboard and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
