1900 - 1920
Description

A good quality late 19th./early 20th. Century mahogany bookcase with 3 plate glass glazed upper doors and 3 panelled lower doors. Each door with shaped arched mouldings. The lower left hand cupboard interior with sloping shelf for wine storage. The reeded styles with carved rosette and leaf carved decoration. The 3 drawers with applied mouldings and very good original cast brass handles and dentil decoration above. The whole standing on a shaped plinth base. Fully adjustable shelves, with all locks and keys. transports in 3 pieces (top, base and cornice). Particularly good mahogany used in the making of this bookcase and it has a deep rich patina. Fully cleaned and waxed. Sizes :- Max.Width...64''...162.5 Height...83.25''...211.5cm. Depth of Base...17.5''...44.5cm. Depth of Top...13''...33cm. Shelf Depth of Base 14.75''...37.5cm.
