Antique Victorian Rise and Fall Piano Stool

Description

An antique Victorian rise and fall piano stool. Standing on a mahogany tripod with bulbous carved stem and scroll carving to the legs. It has been newly recovered in a chenille fabric with a design of leaves in a muted silver on a black background.

Construction/Wood:

Mahogany

Condition Report:

Solid when lowered but slight wobble at higher levels. Newly recovered. The top of the tripod base has been sanded down where it meets the collar.

Dimensions:

Height (lowest): 18"

height (highest): 24"

Diameter of seat: 13.5"
