.

The sugar and milk jug retain an original gilded interior. The underside of the teapot is marked Nowill, presumably a trade mark used by this silversmith, the maker's mark I haven't as yet identified, D* in a shield and A in a second shield.

Dating to the late Victorian or early Edwardian period, 1890/1910, it remains in excellent condition. The teapot measures 9" handle to spout x 5 " tall to top of Ebony finial; the sugar measuring 5 1/2" handle to handle x 3 1/4" tall to top of handle; the milk jug or creamer measures 4 18" spout to handle x 3 1/4" tall to top of handle.
A highly decorative set.
