Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The watch is the Seamaster calibre 552 24 jewels fully automatic movement, as you can see it is in fabulous condition.
The dial is in superb unmarked condition. It has the rare luminous gilt hands and baton markers. It has the Seamaster symbol embellished on the back of the case which is bright and crisp and also the Omega symbol on the crown. A new glass has been fitted and the case has been professionally polished so it is in superb condition.
It is attached to a solid 9ct gold brick link design bracelet hallmarked for 1959 which fits a wrist size of up to 7.5 inches but this can easily be reduced to fit any wrist size by a competent jeweller.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
The case is hallmarked.
Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.
The watch case measures 34mm in diameter not including the crown.
Overall this watch is in outstanding condition and highly sought after by Omega collectors indeed it looks as if it was rarely worn.
The watch has been fully serviced by Alan Willims FBHI and is guaranteed to be a genuine Omega in all respects. It has been professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
The watch movement comes with a full 1 year warranty.
