Gatwards of hitchin still exists & the family believe that this is the clock relatives took to australia in the 1920s.

Written on the back of the case is..."a clock with great care - keep dry - 31/aug 22- by pickfords/by boat - child & son 124 lower thames street london"

Circa 1828-30 mahogany cased 8 day grandfather clock with seconds & date chapter.

Charming painted dial by fennimores of birmingham

Under the movement pendulum cock is engraved "sg waters"

Fully serviced & in good working condition
