Description

A very handsome and shapely tea caddy dating to the Regency period, around 1820.

Made from Rosewood, the edges are highlighted with Boxwood stringing. The sides are mounted with two very English and very Regal polished brass handles with figural Lion's heads.

The lid opens to reveal a double compartment caddy with Mahogany lids.

A handsome piece in excellent condition, measuring 8" wide x 5" deep x 6 1/2" tall. Standing on four original turned bun feet.
