Quality Oak Corner Cabinet - Carved Exterior - c1800

This mid-sized Georgian English oak corner cabinet is a pleasing country example, wonderfully carved, and ideal for display and storage.

Of useful proportion it presents canted corners and a classic carved top mount at the crown.

With hugely desirable hand-carved detailing throughout showing foliate forms the cabinet stands out as a piece of interest. The relief carving is of quality and demonstrates great skill from the original craftsman.

The field panel door opens to reveal a central display shelf and a baize lined interior. The door is complete with working lock and key.

Externally the cabinet displays wonderfully with rich patina across the carved surfaces and the whole is presented in superior order. Fittings are provided to allow easy wall mounting.
