Antique Victorian Mahogany Double Wardrobe C1880

Antique Victorian Mahogany Double Wardrobe and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a cornice top above a deep cross banded frieze and with two full length arched panelled doors with original working lock and key. Internally it is divided with one side having original hooks and bras hanging rail and the other side having original hooks, brass hanging rail and three graduating drawers to the base all of which are mahogany lined with original small glass handles. It stands on a deep plinth base and has original paper lining in very good condition. The wardrobe separates for ease of transporting.

Measures: 78" high x 23" deep x internal depth 18" x 57" wide

A Superb quality mahogany Victorian double wardrobe and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
