Pair Antique Victorian Balloon Back Chairs

Description

A very decorative pair of antique Victorian balloon back chairs which have been newly recovered in a cream brocade fabric called "Hamburg" with a design of coffee coloured leaf sprays on a cream background. Very decorative in design, these chairs have shaped top rails They stand on carved and turned bulbous legs culminating in their original solid brass casters with pot wheels.

Construction/Wood:

Mahogany.

Condition Report:

Good solid condition with wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered over the existing upholstery which is sound and firm. Solid to sit on.

Height to seat: 17"

Overall Height: 36"
