Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
They really do stand out because of the fabulous supports, the design is typical of the Victorian era and as you would expect extremely heavy.

The brass a crisp yet they retain the patina you would expect from a pair of fire dogs of this age.
They measure 5.5" high 3" wide and 9" deep.
These fire dogs are genuine Victorian and not to be confused with modern reproductions.

We have Victorian companions sets which would compliment these beautifully.
Delivery within mainland UK is included in the price.
We have a large selection of genuine Victorian brass companion sets, andirons, lighting as well as vintage clocks and watches so please take a look at our other items.
