Original Simulated Mahogany Painted/Grained Decoration

2 Small over 3 Large Drawers

Excellent Condition

Dimensions: 39" wide x 20" deep x 43" high

A standard C19th bedroom chest with graduated drawers that has been richly painted and grained to resemble a more exotic timber, eg Mahogany. Often such chests have been overpainted or stripped to reveal the underlying Pine. This one has survived to become an increasingly hard to find authentic piece of English bedroom furniture.
