Dimensions: 23" across the front, 15" side returns, 50" high

A Japanned storage cupboard with display shelving above and with a flat front panel (less common than the bow-fronted type). Made in England with a black ground and featuring flat and raised gold decoration in the Chinoiserie style. There are minor restorations, eg a replacement upper shelf and a later door handle, but on the whole the decorative finish is 98% original and intact.
