Description

An early victorian attractively carved walnut framed serpentine double spoonback sofa or settee. It has a central decorative carved panel at the back and the knees of the front cabriole legs have floral and foliate carvings, all in good order. There is also a floral carving to the centre front rail which has a missing petal (see photo). The sofa is well proportioned and dates from around 1850.
