Antique Bow Fronted Burr Maple & Walnut Chest of Drawers

1900 - 1920
Description

Small antique bow fronted chest of drawers, with burr maple drawer fronts & top. There is figured walnut crossbanding & the sides are figured walnut too. It sits on small shaped feet, with shell carvings. This chest is in good condition & dates to around the 1920's period. It has a lovely mellow colour & has the original brass handles. You may notice some darker markings near & on the crossbanding, which are natural marks & burrs within the veneers. There is no damage. It has all been French polished naturally, so the shade of the wood will vary & is more visible on the crossbanding. I think this is a nice feature.

Height - 30", 76 cm
