Description

Beautifully carved French antique gilt wood coffee table with the original marble top. It's in good original condition, with obvious natural wear to the gilding & is structurally sound. This table has plenty of carvings on the top edge, all over the shaped legs & on the pierced shaped stretcher. The marble is very colourful, with lovely veins. On close inspection you can just make out the fact that there was a break in this marble, which has been professionally fixed some time ago, but like I said you can't really see it. I would say this table dates from around the 1910-20's period & it's a very unique piece.
