Antique Regency Style Inlaid Mahogany Sofa Table

1900 - 1920
Description

This antique Regency style sofa table has a lovely shaped top & is very good quality. The top & drawer fronts are flame mahogany, with inlay & crossbanding. The drawers have fine dovetails & original brass handles. There is a cross stretcher joining the legs, which gives it more stabilty & it has swept feet with brass capped casters. The back of this table is polished too. It's in very good condition, having just been polished & I would say it dates from around the 1910-20's period. These tables are quite versatile, because they can be used behind a sofa, or as a side table, dressing table or even as a writing table.

Depth - 25.6", 65 cm

Height - 29.2" 74 cm
