Antique Edwardian Walnut Gentlemans Armchair

1900 - 1920
Description

An elegant antique Edwardian gentlemanss armchair in walnut with well carved top rail depicting a crown and feathers. The side rails are reeded and it stands on bobbin turned legs. It has casters on all four legs and the frame has been stripped to a warm honey colour. It has been newly re-upholstered in a heavy chenille fabric in gold and slate blue on a light gold background. This stylish chair would make a great statement piece in any room.

Material/Construction:

Walnut - stripped and waxed.

Condition Report:

Good solid condition. Some wear to the frame commensurate with age. The frame has been stripped and waxed to a lighter warmer colour. Newly re-upholstered. Quite comfortable. Replacement casters.
