Description

An attractive Victorian period freestanding walnut and burr walnut davenport. The hand dyed green leather writing slope lifts to reveal an interior with 3 pigeon holes and 2 dummy drawers. The top with a good cushion moulded stationary compartment and a three quarter pierced and shaped gallery. To the right hand side are 4 mahogany lined drawers with opposing dummy drawers to the left side, all with turned knob pulls. The serpentine front is supported by carved cabriole legs with scroll feet and sitting on a shaped platform with turned feet and brass castors below. Very good colour and condition. Sizes:- Height..36.25''..92cm. Width..22''..56cm. Depth..23''..58.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £55.
