Antique Edwardian Sewing Table

1900 - 1920
Description

A magnificent antique Edwardian sewing table made of mahogany and standing on 4 slender square tapered legs with up swept stretchers meeting in a flat finial. This elegant and useful table has a hexagonal top that lifts to reveal a useful storage space. Originally a sweing table but would also work really well as a lamp table or telephone table. With original interior lining.

Construction/Wood:

Mahogany

Condition Report:

Good solid condition, it has a lock but no key. The top has some slight scratches to it. Overall a lovely warm patina to the mahogany . There is some rust to interior hinge screws.

Dimensions:

Top: 17.5" by 15"

Height: 28.5"
