Antique Edwardian Inlaid Open Armchair

1900 - 1920
Description

A charming antique Edwardian open armchair with a pierced and inlaid back splat depicting flowers and leaves in inlay. The side rails have stringing inlay and the arms are curved. It stands on Queen Anne legs with bulbous side stretchers. It has been newly reupholstered in a modern heavyweight brocade fabric called Autumn Trellis. A fine and stylish antique chair that would make an impressive desk, hall or bedroom chair.

Mahogany

Solid condition. Newly re-upholstered. Some small scuffs and marks and some small pieces of inlay missing.
