Description

This burr walnut drinks cabinet is one of the best quality ones I've come across. The veneers are stunning & it has very crisp carvings too. The front section is a beautifully figured burr walnut, with ebony inlays & walnut crossbanding, whilst the sides are figured walnut. It has an arched top & shaped solid walnut legs. The inside is beautifully fitted out, making it a very practicable piece & there is a light inside the top section, although it will need to be checked out & probably rewired. There are also mirrors, shelves & compartments in the top section. The bottom section has many drawers & shelves inside the cupboards. This cabinet is in good condition throughout & comes apart into two sections. I would say it dates to around the 1910-20's period. It also has all the original brass handles.
