This pair of antique Swedish satin birch armchairs are top quality & have very generous proportions. They are in good condition, having just been polished & re-upholstered. I would date them to around the 1900-10 period. Those of you who are familiar with my site, will know I bring a lot of armchairs from Sweden, but this is not the usual model I get. I think they are better than the average, in terms of quality, shape & comfort. The wood has a lovely silky finish & the carvings are good too.
