Description

Lovely original antique walnut plant stand or jardinière, with lots of floral marquetry all around the top section. It has a beautiful gilt bronze decorative frieze & loads more gilt bronze mounts. I would say it dates to around the 1890-1900 period & is either French or English. It's in good original condition, structurally sound, but there is a bit of shrinkage around to top edge. I could get that fixed, but would rather offer it for a bit less, because once you put some plants in, I don't think that top edge will be that noticeable. There is a metal container inside for plants, that can be lifted out.
