A wonderfully handsome and unusual jewelry box in the form of a bow fronted drawers on legs or a dressing table with two solid silver knobs to the front making it appear as if the drawer would open.
The top is beautifully engine-turned with a circular vacant cartouche in the centre. The box opens to reveal the original interior in navy blue silk and velvet with the rear section fitted to accommodate six rings.
This wonderful and interesting box has a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1921. The makers mark is also present for the well renowned silversmith, A & J Zimmerman. Excellent condition, measuring 3 3/4'' x 3'' x 2 1/4'' tall.
