Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
It also has a hump back, nicely shaped wings & a sumptuous cushion seat. This chair has been recovered at some point in this leather & it feels like it still has the original innards. There is plenty of good support & it has generous proportions. The condition is really good, with a bit of scuffing on the legs, which can be taken out quite easily. There is a very small tiny hole on a part of the cushion, which we have shown in one of the images. It's really not that noticeable & remember the image is very close up. Personally, I wouldn't touch it, because the leather is not worn out or anything & it's probably a small burn hole. If needed, I can get my leather guy to put a small patch underneath it & colour it out so the eye doesn't see it, but I really don't think it's necessary. I would say the colour is a dark greyish green, but I'm a bit colour blind.
