Antique Bergere 3 piece suite. This set needs a good re-polish & the fabric is not new, so you may want to recover it. Also there are one or two small holes in some of the cane, but nothing terrible. We have tried to show the damage in the images. It's not the sort of thing I normally sell, because it's more of a country piece but I took it in a part exchange to sell on eBay. It's good quality, structurally sound, with good carvings. I'm offering it at a low price, allowing for the bit of work to do. I'm also not entirely sure about the wood. At first I thought it was oak, but it could be walnut or even beech, or maybe a combination. If it's re-polished it will come up really nice, because there is a lovely pattern of grain there. I would say it dates to around the 1910-20's period.
