Description

A really charming and most unusual desk-top magnifying glass with a faux bamboo handle terminating with a Boars head still retaining it's two tiny glass eyes.

Made from a white metal, I think this could be German rather than English, with a wonderful aged antique patina. The glass is in superb condition and with a good magnification, the glass finished both sides with a metallic rope decoration.

Excellent condition, surface wear commensurate with age, measuring 8 1/2" in length with a glass diameter measuring 3 1/4".
