Description

t's been a few years since one of these inkwells have come my way, always highly sought-after, this novelty inkwell is in the from of a 2 lb weight.

Cast of solid English brass, the top is released with the use of the press button to the front. Inside there is a removable ink chamber for easing cleaning and refilling.

The weight has a solid brass ring handle. Excellent condition dating to the Victorian era, around 1860, measuring 2 1/4" across the base and standing 2 1/8" tall or 3 3/4" including the ring handle.
