An Oak George III Period Antique Harness Cupboard

18th century
Description

An oak George III Period antique harness cupboard. The upper section with twin arched panelled oak doors with cast iron "butterfly" hinges, which opens to reveal turned wood coat hooks (also fitted for a central hanging rail). The lower section with four moulded panels above two rectangular drawers retaining what appear to be the original brass swan neck handles. Supported on square stile feet. English circa 1770

Dimensions: 55" wide x 20" deep x 75" high

Condition: The cornice replaced some time ago in oak. One replaced moulding to the lower left hand section. Cleaned and waxed
