Description

A good quality and impressive French tortoishell and ormolu mounted mantel clock. A well proportioned case with red tortoishell and the original ormolu cast case mounts of rococo design. A cast dial with individual enamel numeral cartouches. Side glass apertures. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Circa 1895.
