Superb Pair of 19th Century Male Nude Studies

Description

Two superbly executed male nude studies, in typical art school poses, both by the same hand, one initialed JFM(?) and dated 1852, on Whatman watermarked paper, mounted in common in a 19th Century plain oak frame and with newly cut replacement mount. 69cm x 62cm max. Some dis-colouration and foxing.
