Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The set consists of a sugar bowl, creamer and sugar sifter, al three pieces inset with an old English coin, I believe two being Charles II coins dating to 1678 and the third with a George IV Shilling dating to 1826; I presume this set was made especially for a client with three of their collectible coins.

All three pieces having gilded interiors and each is hallmarked for Birmingham 1896 together with the makers initials for the silversmith, Stokes & Ireland Ltd -William Henry Stokes & Arthur George Ireland.

The box is in very good condition with some wear to covering on the underside and once opens reveals a fabulous silk and velvet lined interior with the Irish retailer's label printed: John Jameson & Sons, Watchmakers, Jewellers and Silversmiths. 87 Grafton Street, Dublin.
Excellent condition, the three pieces weigh a combined 5.11 Troy Ounces or 158.8 Grams.
