Description

An interesting and unusual secretaire on stand. The leather bound box with raised and embossed tooling and hand coloured in reds, greens, browns and gold. The carrying handles made from wrought iron and a japanned escutcheon + key. The fall front opens to reveal a fitted embossed leather interior of 4 short drawers (1 with lock+key) and 1 longer drawer with on open recess above for books. The wrought iron base with Arts and Crafts and Gothic influence and gilded decoration. The secretaire is secured to the base by 4 original screws. A very decorative item, would look great in a large hall. Sizes:- Max.Height 56"..142cm. Max.width 24.5" .. 62cm. Depth 19.25".. 49cm. Stand height 40.75"..101.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £55.
