French Mahogany and Walnut Sleigh Bed or Empire Style Double Bed

This is a wonderful looking piece of superbly figured Walnut and Mahogany it is Double Sleigh Bed or Empire Style Day Bed, which would look fantastic piled up with comfy cushions .

Both ends are the same height with a rounded top rail and large shaped feet there is a clover leaf carved shape to one side, the other side is flat and polished as the bed was made stand against a wall

This is a very attractive piece, it will take a deep mattress and it comes supplied with a new slatted base if required

The bed ends are 44” high and 56” wide. The drop in size of the bed is 75” long, 54” wide it will take a standard 4ft 6” mattress, it comes into 4 pieces for transportation
