Quality Rosewood Dining Chairs - Excellent Condition - c1835

A very pleasing and quality set of four English William IV period Rosewood dining chairs presented in excellent condition.

The styling is classic 'buckle-back' with curved back-splat and carved detail at the tip.

The fabulously well figured Rosewood displays wonderfully the effect is elegant and well proportioned.

Adding to the desirability of this set are the tapered, turned and quarter fluted front legs and moulded front rail.

This excellent and robust set of chairs offer great comfort in use with a 44cm (17.3") seat height and a wide seat pad. The seats benefit from a separate seat pad and wear a quality textile which is in very good condition.

The framing is strong throughout the set and suitable for daily use.

Overall a hugely stylish English antique set and the perfect complement to any setting - rare in this condition.
