Description

Always popular are these antique bread forks, so very elegant on the table to serve all sorts of things.

They are particularly sought-after in sterling silver rather than silver plate and even more desirable with these beautifully iridescent Mother of Pearl Handles.

The fork is beautifully engraved both sides and attached to the handle with a highly decorative ferrule.

There is a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1898, making this a late Victorian example. The makers initials are also present for the silversmith, William Devenport.

Excellent condition, measuring 5 1/4" long.
