Antique English Set Six Silver Plated Napkin Rings - Fern Engraved C.1890

Description

A really beautiful set of six Hexagonal shaped napkin rings, made from silver plate, they come complete with their original silk lined presentation case.

Each is beautifully engraved on three sides with one of three Fern designs, very English and typically Victorian.

One of the sides has a vacant cartouche, one with the original engraved initial "W" in old English font and the sixth panel is engraved with the numbers 1 to 6.

Dating to the late nineteenth century, the set remains in beautiful condition. Each napkin ring measures 1 1/2" across and 1 1/8" tall; the box measures 6 1/2" x 4 3/4" x 2 1/2" tall.
