Ormolu Mantel Clock with Porcelain Panel

Description

A good quality ormolu bronze mantel clock. The original case gilding and standing on adjustable feet. A floral porcelain inset front panel wth foliate drops over the marble base. Standing on the original giltwood plinth. An enamel dial signed 'Jacobs & Lucas by appointment to the Queen'. Blued steel 'moon' hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell by Dellatrez. Circa 1870.
