Description

A beautiful walnut Victorian Period Carved Double Ended Chaise Longue. Having a shaped deep buttoned back with a beautifully carved show frame with extensive fruit and flower carved detail above the generous sprung seat. The arms again beautifully carved with fruit and flower detail and supported on bold acanthus carved cabriole legs with inset brass castors, English circa 1860

Dimensions: 76" wide x 31" deep x 36" high (seat 16" high x 20" deep)

Condition: The frame is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed. It has been re-upholstered in a beautiful gold Gainsborough silk using traditional methods in our workshops
