A stunner of a box, so elegant typical of the late eighteenth century and typically Sheraton in style.

The wonderfully shaped lid is beautifully is beautifully inlaid around a central oval panel of Laburnum.

The box opens to reveal an interior re-lined in a hand-marbelled paper creating a fresh and very usable box.

Quite exquisite and in superb condition. 10 1/2" x 8" x 5 3/4" tall and spanning 11 1/2" wide from turned handle to handle. Complete with working tasselled key.
