Victorian Oak Dining or Centre Table.

Description

Unusual circular oak dining or centre table c.1870. Of exceptional quality with solid oak top on a particularly good base with stout turned legs and stretchers on shaped feet with large spherical finials below and original porcelain castors. Striking design with a flavour of the gothic revival and arts and crafts movements popular with British designers of this time. Though there doesn’t seem to be a maker’s mark, the ebonised detail is very much in the style of Lambs of Manchester. In excellent condition.

Dimensions: diameter 48", height 29½".
