An Edwardian Lancet top mantel clock. A quality case with satinwood veneers and crossbanding. Ebonised case mouldings and banded inlays. Brass side handles and bun feet. A convex enamel dial signed by retailers 'Smith & Son, Strand, London'. An 8-day duration mechanism by Japay Freres striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Circa 1910.
