Mahogany book holder on a ball and socket joint with adjustable brass page stay. Brass arm with sliding catch to adjust the angle from upright to horizontal. On a heavy cast iron base to ensure stability, with ball and claw feet. Excellent, fully working condition, unrestored and retaining the splendid original maker’s mark.
