Description

A delightful little scent bottle box in heavy solid cast English brass dating to the late Victorian era, around 1890 / 1900.

The top has a wonderful mounted Horseshoe (I wander if at 12 O'clock on the horseshoe if there was something else originally attached as there is a little blemish, pin hole - insignificant but mentioned for accuracy).

There is a push button to the front in full working order, once opened, two brass topped crystal perfume bottles are revealed, each hand-blown with a trace of a ground pontil mark on the underside.

A lovely and charming piece in excellent condition. The box measures 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 3 1/4" tall. The little bottles each measure 2 3/8" tall.
