Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
This is a superb example of an English bracket clock by the premier English clockmaker Elliott.

The case has been painted in Old English White which compliments the original bronzed dial with a contrasting silver chapter ring beautifully. It certainly has that country or farmhouse feel to it and would look wonderful in any period home.

There are figures to each corner of the dial and a central floral motif. The round Latin inscription translates to Time Flies.
The movement is an outstanding piece of engineering and is totally original.

The movement has just undergone a full overhaul, clean and service by Alan Williams who is a Fellow of the British Horological Institute with over 40 years experience working with high quality clocks so you can be assured that this clock is in tip top condition and will give trouble free service for many years to come.

It is keeping accurate time to within 1 minute a week.
Dimensions of clock: Height 14.5" with the handle up Width is 10", Depth 6.5".
Delivery for this item to mainland England and Wales is free and includes full setting up instructions and information on how to look after your clock.
