Description

A handsome little French monocular made from polished brass and most attractively clad in Mother of Pearl or Nacre shell, interspersed with the darker Abalone shell creating a striped design.

The eyepiece is too created from Mother of pearl. The brass has all been professionally re-polished to gleam creating a most attractive piece.

A few little dings to the brass and the lens rattles when shaken (insignificant but mentioned for accuracy); excellent condition and optically perfectly usable. 2 1/8" expanding to 2 7/8". Complete with a (new) velvet pouch for it's safe keeping and protection.
